About Asago City

Welcome to Asago City

Asago City was formed on April 1, 2005 by the merger of four towns in Hyogo Prefecture (Ikuno, Wadayama, Santo, and Asago towns). Asago City is rich in nature and has many heritage features. These include many ancient heritage sites including the Chasuriyama Burial Mound, as well as the Takeda Castle Ruins (a National Historic Site) and the Ikuno Silver Mine, a historic site.
